Aneurin Jones’s work is relevant to the Ceredigion countryside where he lives. His work is influenced by his childhood when he lived in and became a part of the farming community. The older generation of farmers that are seen in his work was influenced by him traveling to the farmers market with his father once a week. Within his work he bring the past back to the present by capturing the beauty of the old farm buildings in vibrant colours. There is a strong Welsh narrative within his work from the layer of history that he conveys within his paintings.
