In this art practice module I have explored the boundaries and connections that are found within farming. This has been completed by research into farming boundaries and the way that they become manipulated by the weather. I have experimented with a number of materials in order to achieve this. I have attempted to connect the farmer to these boundaries by experimenting with casts of hands. Due to this being a research module I have used my own hands for experimental purposes. I have experimented with the process of erosion and the mixture of synthetic and natural materials such as soil and straw. I also attempted to grow grass upon the palm of my hand in order to symbolize the farmer nurturing the grass into growth. Over all this was a module that was used in preparation of my final year display.
