THE PROCESS OF TIME

In this art practice self-directed module I have explored the effects of time on the farmer and the surrounding landscape by researching boundaries and connections within farming. This has been achieved by looking at field boundaries and other forms of boundaries such as hedgerows, fences and stonewalls. I have then move on to look at boundaries in detail by studying their decay. Looking at decay it has helped me to display time and history within farming. In this module I have also look at my fathers hands in general and in detail by focusing on the lines and scars and mapping his skin, by doing this it has helped me to link my father to the landscape that he cares for.
